We wanted to share a few photos of the things we've been doing on our vacation in Florida. We have had so much fun doing new things, trying new foods, and exploring new areas. We have thought of you everyday and can't wait until we come home to tell you all about our adventures!
Here is the beautiful view of the Ft. Lauderdale beach from our first hotel.
We walked along the beach, saw big and beautiful houses and yachts, and found some crocodiles too!
Then we got on the giant boat that took us to the Bahamas where the water was the prettiest blue-green color I've ever seen. The sand on the beach was white and the weather was warm. We had a lot of fun exploring the city of Nassau and eating some VERY yummy seafood!
After the boat brought us back to Florida, we drove to Orlando and went to Disneyworld! And guess what? It was COLD here! We had to wear our coats and pants and we were shivering all day. But, Daddy got to go on his favorite ride, Pirates of the Caribbean. He was very excited! 
We also went to a place called Epcot near Disneyworld, which was really fun too. It has fun space rides and all sorts of adventurous places to explore. We also got to see a really great fireworks show at the end of the day. 
We miss you bunches and are happy to hear you are being good for Grandma. Keep working on earning more stars on your chart, okay? We have lots of surprises for you when we get home on Tuesday.Love, Mommy and Daddy

ReplyDeleteI remember telling Brandon and Shelbie about a trip to Vegas and all about the cool rides we went on; it did nothing but make them wanna go and bug their parents about going for the next week. I felt bad! I was just trying to bring some excitement to my nephews and ended up disappointing the heck out of them.
Now that I think about it, your blog post even makes me jealous that I couldn't go too!!
Start thinking of someone besides yourself once in awhile Shannon.
One thing is missing from you and Jason's faces... sunburns!

Jason seriously, if you're going to take a vacation, why aren't you in Whistler having fun at the Olympics. That's your old stomping ground right? Call me next time you plan a vacation!!!
