This was my conversation with Grant the other day...
Grant: "Hey, Mom--Why did the pig cross the road?"
Me: "Ummm...to get to the other side?"
Grant: "No, to get to the movies."
Me: "Oh. I think you're supposed to say, 'Why did the COW cross the road?'"
Grant: "Nooooo...."
Me: "You know, '...to get to the mooooovies.'"
(Pause....)
Grant: "Hey, Mom--Why did the cow jump over the moon?"
Me (thinking I was clever): "To see the other side of the moooooon?"
Grant: "No, to get to outer space!"
